Gammel Kongevej used to be reserved for 16th century royalty, the literal meaning of the name being ‘old king’s road’, but later transformed into one of the main shopping streets of the bourgeois neighbourhood Frederiksberg as specialty stores popped up en masse – a status the street hold to this day. Located right next to Værnedamvej, the street known as the epicentre of quality speciality stores in Copenhagen, it would be difficult to think of a more perfect location for an aiayu store.

The store's interior reflects the aiayu spirit with a natural colour scheme, quality materials, and meticulous craftsmanship.
