between one and many – aw26 show

Our autumn – winter 2026 show explored the space between individuality and togetherness. The show unfolded as a choreography by Breckyn Dávila Drescher that floated through a harmonious set design: a living formation of models, each styled in natural gradient tones that softened into one another and became one palette. From soft whites into deeper, grounding nuances of navy, brown, and black. Individually, each model carried their own presence. Together, they formed a rhythm of repetition, variation, and change – between the one and the many.

“With aiayu’s second show, it felt important to me that what we present truly reflects how we work and what we believe in. I am deeply inspired by nature – by its materials, its colours, and the natural wisdom within them. The collection and the show are shaped by the relationship between individuality and togetherness: how many different layers of materials, stories, and hands can come together to create something meaningful. In many ways, this show feels like a reflection of our garments themselves – formed by the purest fibres, their origins, and the craftsmanship and heritage carried within them.”

– Maria Høgh Heilmann, Founder and Creative Director

The palette was drawn from nature’s own hues framing recycled silks, fine wools, and softened knitwear. Undyed ecru, whites and dove mouliné with soft blue undertones brought a gentle clarity, while dusty rose added warmth. Blue tones defined the collection, from classic navy to washed French blue, set against natural hues of warm khaki, bark, and cognac. As the palette deepened into nuances of brown, dark roots and black, it settled into a grounded harmony.

Corali

Presented on the runway, key pieces were adorned with exclusively made buttons crafted through a collaboration between aiayu and the Copenhagen-founded jewellery brand Corali, founded by Caroline Vogel.“What began as a shared curiosity around the button as an object evolved, through a mutual respect for materials and craftsmanship, into a small series of peculiar pieces. We approached the button as a piece of jewelry – a tribute to the button, elevated beyond its traditional role. Handwrought in recycled sterling silver, it becomes a kind of integrated brooch that forms part of the garment, yet it’s designed to travel over time from one piece to another.. The collaboration unfolds across the inherent lifespans of different materials, united by a shared devotion to artistry, longevity, and thoughtful making.”- Caroline Vogel, Founder of Corali
