A STORY OF LIGHT
We met up with Architect Flemming Skude on a trip to Lolland in September, just before the equinox marked the change of seasons. Visiting Himmelhuset (1998), one of Skude’s original houses and private holiday home.
“We were fortunate enough to witness the transformative effects this had during the course of a day. At dusk, the serenity on the overhead crossing made a gracious spot for stargazing”

A STORY OF LIGHT
“Himmelhuset” captures the ephemeral nature of light. With a glass roof that provides a direct view of the sky, it invites the sunlight in, creating a dynamic atmosphere. We were fortunate enough to witness the transformative effects this had during the course of a day. At dusk, the serenity on the overhead crossing made a gracious spot for stargazing.
